Lawn dethatching removes excess organic matter buildup allowing your grass to breathe and for watering to penetrate into the soil.

To identify if your lawn has an excessive thatch issue, the main identifiers are:

• Spongy feel to your lawn.
• Uneven colouring graduating through dead areas.
• The grass blades are growing from a point (tillering point) above ground level.
• A build up of dead organic matter that acts as a sponge, preventing watering from reaching into the soil.

We do a two pass dethatching for maximum effect, plus pickup and dumping of removed thatch.

We can also follow up with a recommended treatment of lawn fertiliser to aid lawn recovery.

As a certified chemical handler, we can advise and attend to all weed and invasive insect problems. We can use either our Bertolini Greens Keeper boom sprayer for medium to large areas or knapsack sprayer for small areas plus edges and spot spraying.
